Dr. Harner who has had a distinguished career in academic and clinical neurology brings over 37 years experience to EasyDiagnosis. Dr. Harner was most recently, Professor of Neurology, Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, and was formerly Professor and Vice Chairman, Department of Neurology and Professor, Department Physiology and Biochemistry, The Medical College of Pennsylvania, Associate Professor of Neurology, University of Pennsylvania, and Professor, Department of Neurology, UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ. He has held numerous senior consultancies and editorial positions in clinical neurology, held membership in the Société de Neurophysiologie Clinique de Langue Française and is an honorary member of the French Société Française de Neurologie.Dr. Harner has served as examiner, American Boards of Clinical Neurophysiology and American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and was a past member of the neurology study section, National Institutes of Health. He has published extensively in clinical neurology and in the fields of general and electro-neurophysiology and epilepsy. He is the author of over 80 scientific papers and has contributed chapters to several neurology texts.
Dr. Harner holds a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and M.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota and received an honorary Master of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Diplomate of The American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology and of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
